For lack of a better description – what a cool wedding!! I enjoyed all the little quirks so much – from the fly-fishing, to the german food platters and beer-on-tap, the guys with their funky hats and socks, our bride’s amazing dress, the herbs on the tables… Even the sheep were interested and stood around staring at us!
Liza-Lie and Ettienne tied the knot at one of my very favourite venues – The Houthouse at African Leaves on the road between Dullstroom and Lydenburg. Its a small venue with unique beauty – from the hothouse to the ivy-covered guesthouses surrounded by hills and dams.
Liza-Lie and Ettienne are two fun-loving people with a love for the outdoors and adventure. Their wedding was intimate, with focus on their loved ones and having a blast – and oh boy, did they!! Their wedding was arranged on short notice to accommodate their dream of going to Europe for their honeymoon – I wouldn’t have guessed. Emphasis was in all the right places and it was a day which truly reflected the couple’s personality.
Congratulations you two – thank you so much for sharing your adventure with me – I truly enjoyed every second!
Here they are!
