When I photographed at The Silver Sixpence for the first time I fell absolutely in love – and with this second wedding there I lost my heart on this magical venue close to Belfast and Machadodorp.
Monique and Wian tied the knot in the quaint little Chapel with dark clouds looming on the horizon. As they left the ceremony the wind whipped through their hair – gripping Monique’s veil and I love the images of the windswept bridesmaids on the Chapel steps – what a fun crowd!
The decor was amazing once again and as before I was amazed at the attention to detail – everything looked and tasted awesome.
We snuck away to do the couple session in the forest, and managed to get some lovely images of the moody skies too. The scenery is just to die for – and with a couple as sweet and in love as these two, it was great to just play around. Monique looked so lovely and elegant – and I adored the bow ties and outfits of the grooms too. Monique also made each of them a survival packet for the day – a detail I really enjoyed!
As evening drew near the day was blessed with lovely welcome rain while everyone huddled inside all cosy and warm. This venue just exudes that warm country ambiance and it was clear that every guest had fun!
Here they are – the amazing couple – Wian and Monique:
