Mina and Rudi’s big day was slightly different and I really enjoyed being a part of it.
Both of them got dressed at home among friends and it was truly buzzing with excitement at both residences. While Mina was doing make-up I got to steal a shot of her Springer Spaniel – she reminded me so much of my first dog as a child – also a Springer Spaniel! Over at Rudi’s the guys all helped him get dressed and ready for the ceremony in true Greek fashion.
It was my first time photographing a Greek ceremony too and I couldn’t stop looking at the amazing Church with its ornate decorations and even thought the power happened to be out on the day nothing could take away from the happiness of the couple and the guests – I just love intimate weddings like this! After the ceremony we headed to Rosemary Hill for their couple shoot and I think I was smiling all the way through. Mina is such a free-spirit and her hair and dangly bright earrings just fit her personality so well – she really took my breath away. Rudi with his sauve manner and easy smile had us in stitches – every now and then the two of them would just burst out laughing or give me a really spontaneous silly photo that I adored. Couples like these just make you love this job even more!!
To end the day the couple joined their family for dinner at Mythos and I am sure the festivities continued long into the night!
Here they are – Mina and Rudi!
