Christoff and Soria made their vows at Zulu Nyala Country Manor in Fourways surrounded by lots of family and friends…and with a whole choir witnessing the special day too! How these two managed to keep a whole choir secret from their guests, I have no idea – but it gave me many goosebump moments as they were serenaded throughout the ceremony.
But let me start at the beginning – I used to go to school with Christoff’s older brother and sister, so the last time (well, before the engagement shoot – which you can peek at here) I saw him, he was a squeaky voiced little boy at the start of his primary school career. As I was looking up at this handsome guy (and he is tall!!!) while he was getting ready, we were trying to figure out how many years ago this was. So as not to give away my own age I will refrain from mentioning the result here, but it was very special to me to photograph him marrying the love of his life.
And let me tell you – these two are so made for each other. As a couple they exude this charisma and excitement – they are always laughing and joking, they seem to just understand one another and compliment each other so perfectly. I was so excited for the moment Christoff could first see his bride – she looked so gorgeous!! The wedding had lots of special little touches – like Christoff’s grandfather being the ring bearer – and the rings tied onto a Bible that belonged to Soria’s grandfather. As I said – lots of goosebump moments!
I am happy to finally share a peek at their special day – I know this day will just be the first of a lifetime of smiles and laughter together Christoff and Soria – you two are so special!!
Also a very very special thank you to Andie for helping me out on the day!
