Chantelle & Riaan {The Silver Sixpence} | Nelspruit Wedding Photographer

August 17, 2016

My hopeless romantic side peeks out unabashed at stories like this one.  Riaan started a new job and admits noticing Chantelle immediately and then laughs and mentions that he almost didn’t know what to do with himself when she was the first person to walk into the office with him.  The chemistry between the two is palpable and its not hard to see how the gorgeous girl with the big eyes and soft way about her could impress him right off the bat.  But then you also notice the way the big eyes follow him and its clear the feelings are very mutual.

This wedding had an air of gratitude around it – only a day before the wedding Riaan was involved in a hi-jacking and luckily got away with only some scrapes and bruises.  Yet again it made everyone realise that in the end there is no need to sweat the small stuff.  Chantelle had her groom by her side safe and happy, and the celebrations took on a deeper meaning.  Riaan kept saying that their wedding day was always going to be a big wedding for a small amount of people – and it was just that.  Intimate, but gorgeous decorated by Unice-Ann over at The Silver Sixpence, featuring the Howl Lotta Fun Booth to make memories with the family and great music to keep them dancing. It was spectacular in every way.

I hope that you look back on this day as fondly as I do and that your every moment will be spent together in the same gratitude to have the love of your life by your side – I wish you a wonderful life together!
