My name is Henriëtte and I am the shutterbug behind Howling Moon Photography.
I adore light – the kind that streams into a room and gives it that warm airy feel…the kind that shines through grass seeds in the late afternoon creating little starbursts…the kind that makes you feel sunlight on your skin by just looking at the photograph. Light is the magic element in any photo and I am just slightly addicted to it.
Staying in Mpumalanga means I have the most beautiful backdrops to take photos against – from the rolling hills around Dullstroom, the plantations around Sabie and the gorgeous lowveld around Nelspruit and White River. I do often find myself in the Gauteng area too, but keep an eye on my Facebook page for dates!
I am a self-confessed horse riding addict and also enjoy hiking, camping, drawing and Toblerone. Dislikes include brussel sprouts, riding a stationary bicycle, washing dishes and most eight-legged critters. My son is a big inspiration to me in finding joy in the simplicity of life and remains my muse.
Thank you for visiting my page – I hope to meet you soon!
A very special thank you to my lovely friend Tanya from TRPhoto and Colette from Colette Marie Photography for some of these photos – you two rock!
