My name is Henriëtte and I am the shutterbug behind Howling Moon Photography. I am a lifestyle and on-location natural light photographer. This basically means that most of my shoots are not done in studio, but rather at your home (incorporating elements out of your daily life to personalise your photos and make them special and unique only to you) or at a location of your choice.
I adore light - the kind that streams into a room and gives it that warm airy feel...the kind that shines through grass seeds in the late afternoon creating little starbursts...the kind that makes you feel sunlight on your skin by just looking at the photograph... and my passion is using that light to envelop your memories.
I am often asked how I came to be a photographer and I am honestly a bit of a cliche. I bought a camera shortly after the birth of my son and after playing around a bit, found myself completely hooked. Inquisitive by nature I enjoy learning more about my craft, and I'm forever reading and researching.
Apart from photography I enjoy spending time with my hubby and our very lively little boy. I also enjoy hiking, horse riding, camping, reading and Toblerone. Dislikes include brussel sprouts, riding a bicycle, washing dishes and most eight-legged critters.
